• Township Seeks Police Force Grant
  Lower Pottsgrove intends to take advantage of federal economic stimulus money that pays for the hiring of an additional police officer for three years. There’s a catch, though.
• Pottsgrove Little League At Practice
  The baseball season starts for all divisions across Lower, Upper and West Pottsgrove next Saturday, April 18. The Post tried to duck fly balls as it took photos during practice Thursday at Gerald Richards Park.
• Once Slated For Limerick, Gaming Goes East
  Boyd’s proposed casino never made it to the south side of U.S. Route 422. But for those who thought gaming was gone for good from the western suburbs, surprise! Slots will be just down the road, in Valley Forge.
• Ringing Rocks Proposals Aired Tuesday
  The Pottsgrove school board unveils proposals next week for the renovation of Ringing Rocks Elementary School. Public comment is not just welcome, but wanted.

• Ringing Rocks Proposals Aired Tuesday

  Lower Pottsgrove commissioners agree to participate in a study regarding the merger of the Lower, West and Upper Pottsgrove police departments, but say they have no interest in the combination. An overview of several topics.

  The area bank that owns a Sanatoga insurance brokerage is making itself available to customers via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts.
• Pottsgrove’s Soccer Season Under Way
  Youth soccer officially returned during the weekend to the fields at Gerald Richards Park on Buchert Road, as the club season opened. Watch a Post video of kids in five PeeWee games having a fun time.
